Masculinity.
My idea behind the poster was to use a celebrity endorsement of someone who people, particularly males, deem a suitable role model. I used a cool blue colour to tone down the masculinity, but in a subconscious way. The ‘tag line’ challenges the viewers’ masculinity, creating a need to prove themselves. Slight sexism is used, ‘beautiful specialist’ but not to be offensive, rather to convince and imply the thought of beautiful women. I used the term ‘after a hard days work’ to sympathise with the ideology of the male mind and their yearning to be a successful breadwinner. If I were to add more to the poster I feel it could be successful and work well at portraying femininity to a masculine audience.
